Directly on the Alta Via dei Monti Liguri trekking route
The ALTA VIA RELAX is located at the Passo dei Giovi, at an altitude of approximately 500 metres on sea level in the town of Mignanego in a green and silent environment on the hills surrounding the city of Genoa and this location will allow relaxing strolls in forests of the area.
Summer climate is moderate and comfortable given the altitude and for this reason historically this territory was an area of summer vacation for wealthy genovese families and still now the majority of houses are summer vacation residences.
The ALTA VA RELAX is appreciated by those that like to be housed away from the chaos of a city (especially Genoa) and are willing to accept 30 min drive by car or public transport in order to avoid overnight parking problems, to stay in a relaxed and fresh environment allowing to do without air conditioning.
The entrance of the ALTA VIA RELAX is directly on the Alta Via dei Monti Liguri trekking route just at the end of leg 24 but also on the E1 trekking route ( connecting Nordcapp Norway to Capo Passero Sicily Italy) As well, the pilgrim route “Chemin d’Assise” from Vezelay France to Assisi Italy passes just in front of the Alta Via Relax. Public parking is free and usually available at very short distance while bicycles and motorcycles can eventually stay in the garden.
In case you have children, just in front of the house you have a small playground while within a 100 metres you have a small grocery shop, a trattoria (small local restaurant) and local bus stop while in Busalla, distant 3 km, you can find several supermarkets, shops, banks, service stations, restaurants and pizzeria.
HOW TO REACH US
The nearest highway exit is Busalla on the A7 highway MILANO – GENOVA from which we are 3 kms away (details on the last 3 kms will be sent by email).
Coming from the Riviera di Ponente – France along the A10, follow the indications for Genova, don’t deviate the A26 in Genova Voltri but continue towards Genova and take the A7 in direction of Milano and exit in Busalla (the exit after Genova Bolzaneto).
Coming from the Riviera di Levante – La Spezia along the A12 follow the indications for Genova until reaching the A7 Genova – Milano and follow direction of Milano and exit in Busalla (the exit after Genova Bolzaneto).
Coming from Milano along the A7 follow the indications for Genova Center and exit in Busalla (the exit after Ronco Scrivia)
